Would a mouse trap not suffice? I know they're wise little buggers but i'm sure it'll do the job.

No, I doubt a mouse trap would work. The littlenfucker would probably pick it up and throw it in your face

Just checked ebay can pick one up for £15 then just got the hassle of driving 10miles away and releasing it

I had the same problem.. work out how its getting in, then fill the hole with expanding foam.. He'll scratch at it for a few mornings trying to get back in but ignore it and he'll soon go away.
