i could weld them myself but never have any time

I've always been a fan of badboy bonnets on a corsa, always suit black corsas more though.

I like a decent bad boy bonnet on a Corsa B, so long as it is well done.

If someone said they'd paint my bonnet for £50 I'd be wary to be honest but if it's your mate then fair do's, if you're not happy with the finish, will he be happy keep on working on it til it's spot on? That's he difference between a proper body shop and a mate doing mates rates.

Well my mates refurbed my cav turbos for £30 - bet thats more work than a bonnet considering they had been stripped with a 60pad on a 4" grinder...

Paint isn't THAT expensive but sure once you've included thinners, primer, base, clear-coat and materials there isn't a whole lot of money left to cover the labour especially if that includes the welding too, that's not a business model that's a charity
