Bought one!

Plans are big MT tyres, lift kit. Winch. Bull bar and snorkel. That's it for the mods. So far. Got other things like service, new discs and pads all round. Belts change etc to do first.

It's a 2.2 petrol. It's the RS model. It's the one where the clocks say 53k but I think it's more like 90k. Not that bothered as it's going to spend most of its time off road.

the front is free as its on torsion bars and they just wind up. rear springs and shocks are about £230 altogether depending which kit you use to lift them

Found a breaker on a Facebook page who specialise in the Frontera. They have a kit in fitted to a car they are breaking. Just waiting on a pic and price. If all is right, then I have my kit sorted.

Front end has literally got zero articulation..

And they drive like a buttered up brick once they are lifted

Rear isn't so bad :

What size tyres do you have there and what sort of lift did you have / use?

I'm not too bothered about how it drives as it'll only get used to drive to an off roading place then back home again... assuming it doesn't break when there.

I flipped the brake bias valve over too:

I can't even remember what the lift was or the size of the tyres.. but she got abused
