Had it resprayed today, been sorting the prep work for a while tbh.

Had it all painted except the roof, and also a new n/s front wing

This morning, prepped and ready to go.

In the booth all masked

Fresh out the booth

And finally all fit up and back at home

Also colour coded the door handles, rear number plate plinth, and fit facelift colour coded side mouldings and new front and rear Ford badges.

Just needs flatting polishing and a good clean now

Looks mint. Probably the car I'd have if I don't have Corsa B.

This car is about 10 years old, SVM. It's a pre facelift. Note the headlights, wing mirrors and rear lights.

How comes you didn't get the bumper inserts colour coded, Andy?

How come you didn't spray the front wing? I can understand about the roof, or actually thinking about it, it probably took just as long to mask up so should have just done it all at the same time :/

It's a 2005 05 plate SMV, 10 years old!

Ben, I don't like them done on black ones, red white etc look ace with all gloss black grilles in bumpers. Buy on black I think it's just too much black.

Andys sxi, I have fit a new wing on the passenger side, that was painted seperate and I fit it after it was all painted. That wing was too damaged.

You know things are getting out of hand when brand new cars are suddenly ten years old, all out of the blue.

I'd find faults on it

I only started doing the front wings and rear bumper on this! And then escalated into all that! I may see about some facelift front and rear lights but it will more than likely be going for sale in 6 months anyway.

Oh I wasn't saying there's no faults.

Just that they don't need respraying

The only fault on my ZT is a tiny marring in the paint on the front bumper from when I just touched one of the bare screw heads of the number plate on a new Audi whilst parking on site at an Audi dealer.

If only the person who fitted the plate had used double sided tape, there'd be nothing there.

Not something we do often, but pay us money and we paint things. From house radiators to helicopters. We've painted it :thumb: done a few bike fairings, and side kart for Eddy Wright Harley place last year.
