Has anyone an idea on the cost of repairing a corner of a rear bumper?
I'm buying a car that has a car park scrape on one corner that would need bodyshop attention! Just keen to get an idea on price so that I can work some figures out.
Its not bad damage, it just looks someone that cant drive has caught it on the way in/out of a space.

I reckon it will be more than £50 but less than £150.
For the purpose of working figures out i would go with £150 and then any less is a win.
Hope this helps. Good luck with those figures.

Would all depend on what car, colour etc. If you wanted the bumper removing for a better job, remove grilles trims etc or mask them up.
At my work I'd be saying £120+ VAT for the corner doing. £150 +VAT if you wanted full bumper doing. More near £180-£200 + VAT if you wanted it all stripping off etc.

Place I used to use when in Liverpool was £150 a panel plus the VAT.
I'd say £100 to do a corner but depends if you can match in the colour.

Brother had his Frozen white BMW bumper plastic welded and sprayed for about £200
so if its just a scuff and a standard paint colour probably about |£100

Find a bodyshop that will let you pay £10 a month towards the repair and after something like 15-18months you give them the car. It'll be worth less than now so really you will be winning.

I think most proper body shops would only want to repainted the whole bumper.
For that I'm going to say £150-£200.

I've got mates rates but I'm getting the whole of my rear bumper done for £120 inc. VAT. so I'd say figures just above that price.

I'd quite happily give my mate £120 to repair and respray my front bumper.
Again, tight Northerners.
