Has anyone tried this before?

http://www.caristaapp.com/

Its a little WIFI based OBD port plug-in that allows the app on your phone to communicate with your ECU's to read/clear codes and also change settings/features on the car.

The app is free for diagnostics but you have to pay (once) for each feature you want to enable.

The dongle is £31.99 on Amazon so I've taken a punt on it!

Going to be the same as every other Bluetooth ODB tool isn't it? With the exception of doing Wifi.

Its more the features/reliability of the app I'm curious about.. It sounds a bit too good to be true, they say it does engine, gearbox, srs, abs etc.

Looking at some of the reviews it is just a glorified code reader and doesn't even tell you what the codes mean you still have to look them up
