Can't believe MRC Tuning have not been mentioned in here for VAG mapping. They've been doing a lot with the Mk7 R lately too.

They've had Audi Tuner Gold Award for 10 years running also.

There's that many places that offer maps now. Just choose the place closest to you and check there reputation. 99% of them are just flashed on anyways so they can't really go wrong.

AMD seem to have a good reputation. Bit far for you to travel though, as they're round the corner from me

BigFish Tuning in Stokesley (near Middlesbrough) have a good reputation round here and it's not a million miles for you. They have a brand new dyno too.

A question as I really don't know, but.... Aside from the engine remap will it not need a dsg remap aswell?

Was gonna say about the Dsg map. That's £500 on its own pretty sure mine needs an update due to the 1st to 2nd pause.

I was thinkin either shark or MRC to do it. Bit of a trek for me but I don't know of a place that's closer that's worked on the B8 S4 before.

The Apr map your considering is supposed to be brilliant. Software updates are free as well compared to Revo's £49+vat for every stage. When I say free I mean the software is free, all your paying for is the garages labour.

can do a stage 1 map on a standard car. will do that first then add air intake and a downpipes then go for a stage 2 map and the dsg map in one go.
