I bought a Blackvue Dashcam couple years ago and cannot fault it. Think it was around Ł269 which had HD, and wifi so that you could view it on your smartphone as and when you needed it.

I have the old version, looks a bit different to the new one, cracked the casing and they replaced the whole unit straight away and the chap who sells them is really helpful.
The bump detector/sensitivity can be turned down, mine was coming on most of the time and got annoying

Ones in our work vans were mega sensitive. The drivers were saying they were going off if you went over cats eyes. Whichever ones are in our vans, the quality is immense.

I've just got a k1s.

Haven't installed yet but plan on putting the screen module into the glovebox out of the sat. Cameras are tiny!

So you can make sure its pointing in the right direction, see what its doing, check that its working, see what functions are enabled etc. etc.
