In a nutshell:
I had an accident, which my insurance company advised me to accept liability for.
Anyway, I had a letter today from a law company who say something along the lines of 'We are instructed to claim damages for negligence in connection with accident blah blah'
The name of the other bloke is incorrect for a start, both first and last name, and also the location of where it happened.
Other guy - a greek migrant, is with no surprise claiming he has: Back pain/stiffness, Shoulder pain/stiffness and travel anxiety ( ) Which is total crap as the impact barely even moved his vehicle, but I didnt expect any less to be fair.
It just says I should contact my insurer in relation to the attached claims notification form.
What is this, what does it mean, and what should I do with it, before I use it as toilet roll.

Wondering what "Greek migrant" has to Do with the story?
I doubt there's anything you can do, pass information on to insurer and expect to lose out next year

It seems that migrants are bizarrely injured much more dramatically and frequently when involved in accidents. That was my reference.
As for insurance, it's already gone up for my other vehicle as renewal was due.
I just don't know what the document actually is, or what it even implies.

Get a picture up of the letter, or quote it properly. Kind of suggests you aren't sure of exact wording, so may have missed important bit out.

Let your insurance company deal with it. It's what you pay them for.

Maybe you want some statisticians to corroborate your racism too
If you've already admitted it then yeah, tell them to speak with your insurer who'll pay it all out.
Poor advice a while back though - not the best news to admit it.

I still didn't admit it to the insurance or at the scene as I still believe I didn't do anything wrong, I just said if the insurance thinks that I'm best to admit liability, then that's for them to decide. I think by that, they've probably made the decision for me based on the circumstance.

Do you have the stats for fake injury claims/crash for cash to ethnic backgrounds?
Would make for interesting readings

Some sort of percentage comparison too against totals of non british.
For example
If there is 20 people in a room, 3 of them Muslim rest white british, 10 people in that room perform fake claims, the make up of the claims were 3 muslim and the rest white british, that would mean 100% muslim fake claims, against 35% white british, even though the total number of white british false claims were higher, it still makes the muslim minority proportionally more dishonest.
This is why you can't just look at totals and say but x amount more claims were made by white british people.

Lets be honest, the whole industry is fucked. Everyone I know who's had a little bump at low speed now has life-changing injuries that are worth grands.
The justification to cost the industry grands seems always to be the fact that everyone is doing it.

Claim Notifcation Form is the initial "Letter of Claim" in the MOJ portal which is used for pursuing personal injury claims. It's essentially the notification a claim is being made against you.
Your insurer will probably know about the claim now it's been submitted in the portal. Check the CNF it will have their details.
