My first time this year. Staying with village on the curves. Tunnel Thurs and back on Monday.
Quite excited but nervous at the same time as neither me or my mate have been before.

It's amazing. This will be my 3rd time. You will love it and want to go every year.
If you've got any questions/concerns just ask.
Is Village on the Curves with Lycian?? If so you've probably chosen wisely for your first time as everything will be there for you, private campsite, separate facilities and security. You are on the inside of the Porsche Curves I think? We are with Travel Destinations, similar set up on the outside of them.

Yeh it's lycian. I got a welcome pack with my tickets and it covers most things. We also have access to a mini bus to cart us about aswell which I think is quite good as it seems to be around a 30 min walk from the start/finish?
How much spending money do you take? I literally have no idea how much to take.

We will be arriving on Thursday around 6pm as well. Any chance we will get caught in one of the"mad" crowds?

Yeah, it's probably less for you guys being inside the track. It was about 20-25mins for us from our site. Not really an issue though.
I'm taking about 300 Euros cash and the obv. my cards. From memory its easier to pay cash in the circuit, I think some places don't take card anyway. Its about 7.5Euros for a beer at the track, although that includes re-useable commemorative cup. Can't remember how much food was.
The main madness is on "Mad Friday" when you really don't want to be driving about. Should be okay Thursday as I'd say that's the main arrival day. May be a few people about in the evening Thurs trying to get cars to do burnouts etc. but won't be an issue for you. Just drive through them.
The Le Mans section on Pistonheads is worth a read and also The Beermountain site and forum is good.
What cars are you in? Are you stickering?

My mates a3. We went from wanting to put loads of stickers on, to just doing name stickers on rear windows, tag hueuers on the wings and a big le mans 2016 on the rear window. What about you?
My mate shat out and thought they might pull lacquer off. I wanted to take the abarth and sticker it up like alitalia but fuck driving to France in a fiat 500 haha.

Decent stickers shouldn't pull laquer off, unless it's had a bad re-spray or something. You should have gone in the Abarth!!
We are in a 2 car group....Audi A5 Black Edition with full Warsteiner livery and a Megane RS Trophy...less stickers on that as its got paint protection film on the front.
