Its a sump off an Evo. So id hazard a guess 45 x 25 x 20cm. 20kgs to be on the safe side.
Just been quoted £75 by TNT so it's getting better but that was at a weight of 12kgs...

Ooo nice find Ian! I'll give Parcelmonkey a go when I have the proper details. Is that the main website you'd use?

In all seriousness shipping internationally is a tricky game..
You'll need to declare the value to get insurance but then you fuck the buyer on duties..
Decent agents will let you specify different insurance values to actual values

What would you recommend then? I'm not actually selling anything. I'm sending something away to be modified and then it will be returned.

For a one off you're going to have to use one of the main carriers, if you were doing this regularly I could put you in touch with an Agent.

Tried inter parcel?
I just used them for an ARB which is obviously an odd shape. Parcel2go the cheapest quote was £60 + VAT. £10.80 on interparcel

What's so special that requires it to go all the way to NZ?

I've actually blown up my second engine due to oil surge The place I am sending the sump to make the sump hold more volume, baffle it and fit 4 gates inside the sump to ensure oil is always by the pick up. The company in NZ is the only company I could find who does this work that includes 4 gates locking oil in.

I used Parcelmonkey's service, who consequently used Parcelforce. According to the tracking info, it's there! Just waiting for the New Zealand guy to wake up and confirm..
