I was Just wondering if anyone has any first hand experience of smoothing the bootlid off. If anyone could help out that would be great

Two ways to do it, either buy a cheap ass piece of crap fiberglass and stick it on then smooth in in or weld a plate over the no. plate recess and then seal and smooth the infill in. The second is the way id do it and will cost you more to do.
