sensor is in front of tank - so when u go up a hill, all the petrol goes to rear of tank - the sensor drops - when u go down a hill - more petrol to front of tank - sensor goes up

they are terrible. when i get low in fuel (ie: the light comes on) i stick a tenner in. Although tenner only bout 15/16 litres, it takes it to half a tank?!?!?! does this mean there is more in it than u think when low?

All Vauxhalls are like this. The gauge was basically just slightly above red on the Astra, I stuck a tenner of petrol in (13 litres), and it's come to nearly 1/2 tank! Fucking thing!
