how did you cut the shape of the false floor so that it fits snug. i tried and failed has anyone got any tips for measuring so it fits real tight.

cardboard template then make wood exactly same size as cardboard

Same as. Got big bits of cardboard and made a template. Then got some wood and trimmed it a little over so that it would fit nice and tight.

Mine splits in the middle from front to rear. So that when u put it in, it has to form a triangle, then u push both sides down and it sits in nice and snug.

Well happy with it.

Go down to your local supermarkets. I used to boxes they leave out to carry stuff in. They never mind. Been down there loadsa times. Just unstick the join and it folds out into this massive flat cardboard panel/s.

I then stapled it all together. Dunno if there is any pics on my site. If not the design, then deffo the false floor.
