  Keep them red and leave them...
  Take them off completely and respray sides...
  Colour code them and leave them on....

car is getting some bodywork done and i'm stuck as to what to do with the rubstrips...

car is metallic smoke grey, fully colour coded, roof rails, scuttle, arches, boot lock, bumper etc.....and dark grey/black (like Icys) wheels.

thats what i am thinking, just take em off and get the sides resprayed....might end up getting a full respray in the end..

I had a hard decision about mine -- thought it looked better leaving em on and colour coding....

I got mine removed whilst it was been resprayed last week, looks 10 times better now.

can u get extra laquer put on?
So the paint is really shiny and thick looking.....

mines being colour coded - i am in exact same situation and am having a kit fitted.

my m8 said it would be easier to paint them rather than paint whole doors - im having touch up paint done too.

get car back tonight hopefully so ill take a pic for you and post up if i got time later on

What colour is your car? I had the new R&A front bumper and skirts put on mine last week and then the whole lot resprayed in the standard purple and the difference is amazing, its almost like a flip paint. I really would recommend binning the rub strips and getting it resprayed

car is smoke grey and gonna have almost black wheels........i have always thought i'd have em taken off, but then some people say "i like the red strip" "looks Sporty", but those people r the sort who wear jogging bottoms and puffa jackets...
