Traders policy are not as cheap as everyone makes out and no you need some form of link with the motor trade to get one hence traders.

I'm a mechanic and when i am at work i am insured on anything.I've drove scoobies , mercs, and beemers. The Garage i work at is a honda tuning specialist and i have drove some well fast civic's integra type R's and prelude's.

example if u do mot's, then ur insurance must cover u fully comp on all vehicles so u can test any if necessary....
