Went out in a VX220 2day and fook me it's quick!!! Went round milbrook, speed bowl in it at motor drive live.
Just my foot down and I was doing 80 in a few seconds!!!!!!!

The 1.3 diesel looks fun too. As for the standard VX220, i came off a roundabout and saw one in my rearview so i tried to see what it could do, so i slammed my foot down and got out of 2nd, straight into 3rd and got up to about 80, and watched as it passed me like i was standing still.

yeah but its not full alu. the new 2.2 turbo will be! even lighter

anybody seen anything about the lightning, looks a bit similer to the vx220 but more power. 20" wheels on the back and 19"'s on the front, looks mean, only concept at the mo, but they have had lots of intrest so are considering producing it.

the lightning looks sweet, doubt it'll go into production though as it'll cost a fortune and people just won't pay a fortune for something with a vauxhall badge.
