The best quote I got was £100 that was for taking the standard shite off, then putting the new kit on, then tracking it.
But I did it myself, and the tracking is fine.

£100 to change some springs?
Around here you pay about £20-£25 an hour labour, wont take anyone with 2 arms more than 2 hours with the right tools.
You only need springs, if thats what you want.

Well thats the quote that I got for full suspension change, and just changing the springs really involves almost as much work, easier and quicker to do on the back but the front still needs compressing and shit.
I just fitted my own.

did my whole lot in an hours, its dead simple, only slightly tricky, well not tricky just hard is the top nut on the front shocks, mainly because its done up so bloody tight.

I just lowered my front 60mm today with apex shocks and springs and the tracking is fine. Just couldnt do the rear as the nut on the shock was hard to undo and was getting more and more fcuked the harder we tried to turn it.
How much would i be looking at for just the rears to be done? shocks and springs??

erm do the springs yourself, its a case of undoing the btoom of the shocks, taking the springs out and then putting them bk in, takes 10 mins top.
as for the shocks, yeah mine where done up pretty tight, managed it in the end with some funky adjustable spanner which my dad has.

oh just thought, if you have new shocks then just cut the nut off with a hacksaw, they should provide you with new ones

I bought the shocks and springs from someone on here, not entirely sure if they provided me with new nuts. If they do then i may well do the rears myself too. Never thought of hacking the bastard off
