use to happen on my corsa when it was lowered 40mm. just turn the clamp 90 degrees, and put some sponge or foam on the axle directly below the exhaust

i really like the RIAL GS 14" alloys with either goodyear F1 195.60.14
or Hankook K102 195.45.14
which tyre would be the better option i would prefer the hankook coz of the profile, and lower my corsa 40mm or 60mm ?
i would prefer 40mm (not so impractical)
any +ve comments would be great
mine already knocks standard

Used to happen all the time on my Corsa it was lowered 60mm, even on the smoothest of roads with only me in the car.
I turned the clamp round a bit and fitted new hanging rubber things (Ford ones, they're more solid)
That stopped the banging straight away.

i have the sebring exhaust and it used to bang on the axle at standard height. That was because wasnt fully on. The car is now lowered by 40mm and the zorst doesnt get anywhere near the axle now it is fitted properly

Banging =

1. You havent fitted bumpstops, which are VITAL for comfort and shock protection to chassis. Your car will not MOT without them.

2. Your exhaust/clamp is hitting the rear beam, forget foam and all that shite, get a blow torch, heat up the bend around the beam and when red hot slightly angle the system upwards away from the beam, or you can try messing with hangers etc but its not as effective.
