Got to renew my sump seal at the weekend, shouldn't be too hard a job. Anything to watch out for or i need to remember to do?

Im putting new oil in, as the the current stuff dripped out. As im using new oil do i need to change the filter? Filter and current oil only done 9 months ago, about 5k miles

Also going to do my housemates drums and pads for him, again any useful hints or things to watch out for?!

Cheers People!

it's only a tenner for a new filter so you might as well seeing as all the oil will be drained out
