i know this is a corsa site, but still need some help if you know what i talking about, thing is my car is a Ford Escort, and the problem is that when i put it into first gear..... it just comes out again as soon as the car moves forward!!! and makes one hell of a nose!!! so then av to shove it back in gear and hold it in place hard until wanting to change into 2nd!!! does not do it all the time but 3 1/4s of the time.... ANY IDEAS??????

The synchro-mesh or linkage will have gone...get one from a scrappy and pay a mechanic to fit...shouldnt be too bad...
