Went to the Scotland v Germany under 21 international game tonight.
Walked up to the SCOTLAND gates wearing a blue t-shirt and blue zip-up top.
A steward walks up to me and puts his hand out "Stop there!" he cries, "Wrong end" "German supporter?" , so i replied quite boggled "naw".
He then goes on and on for about a minute, all in perfect english (no accent) "germany support round other end" "You in other end" etc........
So he continues to ramble on to me about going round the other end of the ground. Ihonestly thought he was taking the piss as if he knew me or something and was basically winding me up.
Next thing, he says "Ny!!" (sorry for the spelling, but its german for NO)
It then clicked in that he actually thot i was german!!! So i stood there listening to him, as did my dad and mate and about another 25 scots fans.
He then shouts over the police, and goes through the same rigmorole again "other end" etc etc etc.
He finally says in pin point perfect english
- " Germany other end, Do you understand me?"
So i replied
"Aye, a underston ye, but i aint german!"
Policeman laughed at the steward an walked away.
Everyone killing themselves with laughter.
The steward then tells me to watch who i'm talking to.
Total utter balloon!!!!
Anyway, good game of fitba. Finished 2-2.
Germans singing there best in english
"if you hate the fuckn inglish clap your hands"
"stand up if you hate inglund"
What a night
