it will be a bastid to fit due to the new engine using fly by wire throttle and the old ones using a cable.

but if you changed the whole engine and ECUs and accelerator gear wouldn't the fly by wire sort its self out?

Keep an eye oin the breakers, you will find a crashed on sooner or later.
There is a wrecked Corsa C in a yard near me. only a few months old. ok, its only a 12v engine, but the GSI`s will be getting crashed soon.

If you think abuot it though, Corsa C's have been around for about 2 years now, and you're only seeing a few at the scrap yards recently. I think it will be rare to find one at a scrappie, because there wont be many around, they are worth quite a bit so therefore will be quite hard to write off, anyone who writes off a Gsi is likely to buy it back off the insurance company again to break it (i know i would)

how many corsa b's have you ever seen in a scrap yard?? not many!!
and as for buying the engine new, your probably better of just buying the whole car new!!!
