unleaded for a gallon? its 72p approx for a litre. so how much for a gallon?

so for £5, a corsa 1.4 16v, which does 40mpg mixed, shud do 61.728395061728395061728395061728 miles. mine does just about 40.

so mine does about 26 mpg according to my confused calculation which i believe r correct.

sounds about right. That is bad economy, unless your driving really hard or do lots of short town journeys from cold then you have a problem I think.

I got 33mpg on a motorway run with my tb'd 1.6 16v.

My 1.4 16v used to do about 10.5p a mile, that was taking it fairly easy, with a bit of town driving, if I have it loads it would never go above 12p a mile.

yeah i do a lot of town driving from cold. the most i drive at any 1 time is about 15 to 20 miles. unless i have something planned further away.
