they dont sound as good.
got 4 12" magnat XTC's. i swoped + and - over on sub, not changed any settings and not put anything in boxes (which are ported)
any ideas why it doesnt sound as good?

Thought the box had to be sealed when inverting subs, I may b wrong but worth a try.

Did you use the same box and just invert them...? 
If you did then they will prob sound wrong...
when inverting you need to take into account the volume of the sub basket your removing from the space... your box's volume is to much now and being a ported box will make this even worse...

Blocks of wood with screws and no-more-nails until it sounds about right.
