any ideas wot the problem could be? checked the fuses they r fine!any ideas??

bulbs? take the plug off the rear lights and clean up the contacts on both bits.

might be the actual switch on the gear lever

I believe the switch is on the front of the gearbox. Most likely bulb though.

my bros corsa doesnt eh same, its a bit intermittent though, sometimes they work, sometimes they dont.

change switch on front of gear box mine went pisseasy to do

i had this prob m8 check the swith in the actual gear box...it started off intermitent and gradually got worst till they stopped,, i think it was £9 plus vat for the part from vaux direct, so not the end of the world

on front-top or gear boc unplug wire unbolt switch bolt in new switch plug wire back in job done

just check ur fuse. if the cig lighter dont work then its ur fuse. trust me.

I got this problem too.

Is the switch easy to get to?
Can you get to it from under the bonnet or is it easier from underneath the car?
