i was gona get a set of grooved and drilled disks, but a mate told me that they make a lot of squeaking noise when they are cold!!
is this true coz i dont want my ride sounding like a bus! haha

Never noticed and I've had drilled disks, and drilled and groved disks.

mine do. make a sort of buzzin noise when i brake. really loud in tunnels.

CALIBRA 2.0 upgrade calipers - Red*Dot 6slots and Red*Dot fast road pads. They squeal badly first thing in morning and also when braking at slow speeds i.e city driving/traffic jams etc. Dosent bother me as when ever I watch WRC on T.V they have the same problem.... lol

i wouldnt buy grooved disks myself unless your happy at you pad lifetime being reduced by 50%
cross-drilled are a far better option, as these dissapate heat & dont wear pads as much as the grooved
grooved disks dont disappate heat they just skim off the top layer of the pads to prevent glazing, which is only really a problem if you take your car on trackdays etc
