I am thinking of upgradnig my front speakers, any suggestions and whats the best place to get them?
At the moment i have standard front door speakers, Pioneer 6*9's in a stealth shelf powered by a Clarion head unit. and a 12" sub powered by a JBL amp

It depends on how much the speakers are. Could you do it off the same amp? I can't remember what the watts is and how many channels there are!!!

In June's Max Power they tested Front speakers and 6*9's.Pioneer Got silve award and audiobahn got gold.
The pioneer was front 5in midrange TS-A1310 and Autiobahn was front 5in midrange ABF25T.
I have pioneer 6*9's, is it better to stick with the same or is mix and match ok.
Thoughts on these two?

mix and match is fine, personally i owuldnt get pionner front speakers, its best too have daddy front speakers running from an amp.
when i finnish mine for now it will be alpine type r fronts with alpine v power amp running them, nothing in the rear for now, and an mrd m300 d class amp running some 10" sub which i havent decided on yet, eventually ill probably get some bbg components for the back which im making custom pods for

Sort yourself out with some infinity's 655cs... they won't break the bank and sound very sweet. your looking at around 90watts RMS for about £90. Pound per Watt you can't get much better.
Audiobahn are very very good, but would need a much bigger amp to power them, were starting to talk serious power when audiobahn are involved...

if your planning a full audiobahn system then your best getting that sort of stuff from the states.. USA!
will cost a small fortune in this country...
www.thezeb.com
www.sounddomain.com
www.millionbuy.com
otherwise buy yourself a max power mag they usally have dealers in there...

better still if you know someone in the states, get them to buy it and send it to you... that way you get round the import duty costs... it's like sending a birthday present...

No audiobahn is fairly high priced but not too bad. I would get both sets of audiobahn speakers and sell your pioneer 6x9's, then get an alpine MRV-F540 to power them. Also buy the audiobahn stuff in UK its not that expensive i got the audiobahn 2 way 6x9s for £99.99 delivered
