Bloody every poncy where.  to the lady copper who jsut told everyone to turn their foggys off as opposed to giving them a ticket 
Can anyone tell me why they play musical bollards though? One minute u can drive round any section of the seafront, then they block 1 bit, then open it, block another, then the block the whole seafront so u have to go from the casino right along to the far side where the new (ish) traffic lights are etc.
Strange coppers. However, didn't see em pulling anyone for stupid things. But there were loadsa coppers, even a chopper decided to pay southend a visit 
Had a nice little crack with a Nissan 200SX (S13) on the way to basildon, nissan had no chance 
Basildon rocked though. Southers was very quiet, but dunno where everyone came from. WE left about 1.30am, and it seemed just to be warming up. Never seen so many cars there.
All in all, not a bad night

what is the difference between an S13 and a regular 20SX... there is a kid at work who reckons he had a standard one capable of 160mph

Ok, he is a homo.
An S13 is a 1.8 turbo. About 170bhp. Usually aroudn a G, H reg.
An S14 is a 2.0litre turbo witha bout 197bhp. ITs the newer more cury one.
Only varitation is the Touring, on the S14, came with skirts n leather. Dont think the S13 had a touring model.

Eh, the S14 does 60 in 6.4 and tops out at 146. Dunno where 7.5 comes from? And its faster than the S13, so how the hell have they worked that one out

Daimo - There has been alot of trouble around here recently with regards to boy racers and all my mates have made a massive protest about the police being so strict upon the boy racers, its taken off so much that its been put into all the local papers, on the local news and everything !!
They have had meetings with the police and it seems like the police are going to GIVE US ALL A CHANCE down there ALSONG AS we dont cause any TROUBLE 
Sooooo, fingers crossed !!
With regards to the bollards i beleive they are testing out the best routes so that the front isnt used as a race track BUT it doesnt help the local families etc

There were loads of families out last night watching all the cars.
Police were quite good. No real hassle. I think its good to have the presence there, to stop the idiots from causing trouble.
Could it be that the essex police are working with the cruisers not against them
Could spawn a whole new era of cruising
