hey people...

im looking to get some ICE in my car.

i want two 12" subs and ive seen a JBL package consisting of Amp GTO 2000 400w + GT3-12 1800 watts with box and wiring.

now what confuses me is how the power ratings compare with each other , e.g 400w amp compared to an 1800 watt sub?

all of this true and im not making any ridiculous figures up.

so if any one could tell me what i would need to do if i wanted 2 12" subs, how many amps would i need?

1800w for the sub is its peak but in rms it probably be about 300ws and the amp about 150-200 wsso it would be plenty to run those subs.me personally would have 2 big powerfull amps for each sub to get the best out ov them.
