You could save the Word document as a Web Page, then you should find the JPEG file in a directory that has the same name as your Web Page.

right click on the picture in word click copy then paste it into a paint prog, then save as accordingly

That is no good as he only wants the picture that's embedded in the document, not a screen shot of the whole screen!
