yes. they are allowed to have an error or +/- 10%. most underread e.g real 60mph is actually 63-64 on the speedo

off topic now ive got suzuki 600 gsx, and ive not cum across a car that can touch it yet,

U might have caught up to the bike cos he didnt wana do 150 all the way down motorway

Heard veccy gsi's are good for a ton 50

veccy gsi's arew gud for a 150mph,

but if it was a 1200 bike he'd proberly only hitting 3rd or 4th,

1200's most are restricted by the factory to 180mph,

but there aint many that are restricted now tho, as soon as they get em they rip the restritor off.

maybe the bike was one of them annoyin scooter's made up to look like somethin a f*ck lot better

I was reading this lastnight and raging.

There is noway on gods green earth that a Vectra GSi would keep up with a 600cc motorbike

PGTF. A Vectra GSi would even loose to a RS250.

vibrio is correct that gearing is very long so they are not too quick to 60, however there is not many other cars that can maintain speed round corners like the s- top end isnt bad either- wouldnt exactly describe them as slow for a 16k car
