If your insured then take it for a spin, no harm can be done really, if you aint insured then just dont risk it.

What the others said.....if your insured take it, if not......don't!!

My mates parents have a SLK Kompresser and go away quite often, and he takes that out, (even when he hadnt took his test) he passed on tuesday and his parents are away for a week from today, but i wouldn't advise him to drive it!!

If you are not insured on it then you risk writing off and losing your parents car, i wouldnt do it.

id probably leave it alone even if insured as u might get some coffin dodger or nob pulling out on u or something - not worth the risk m8
