no vin plate. ummm youre driving a ringer mate
THe VIN plate is on the panel by the radiator and is in black and text in silver.
To find out ur paint code, is the plate next to the VIN plate and is painted to your car's colour ie red. So red (flame) code is 79l

Theres also a VIN number stamped into the sill on the drivers side. It by the seat and under the plastic trim, there a flap to lift up, check if it matchs your vin on your MOT

The VIN plate shows the NUmber, the weight of the vehicle (gross/net) Kerb weight blah blah.
You got a plate which is colour coded to your car by the rad?

Can I ask why you buying the paint only, and not getting your bodyshop to mix it for you?
Are You spraying it yourself?? If so, you can ask a bodyshop for paint.

Your car being RED, it may have faded in places,so spraying on new paint (79L) which is the correct colour, wont always match up with your existing paint, unless your having a respray? Which parts your getting sprayed

We have a paint shop here that mixes paint. But your not from my way. You know your area better. Try asking at bodyshops...they will be about to find the correct shade (to match your faded paint).
