I saw some alloys on ebay and i asked the guy what the offset was, as i know i need et45. He replied with:
'the wheels are et45 with spiget rings (vaux) or et35 without the spiget rings (ford) all 4 of the wheels are in mint condition not a mark on any of them'
Are these 'spiget rings' some sort of dodgy thing or will they be ok? I have never heard of them before.

Not 100% sure but aint they wee rings that go in the back of the wheel, so offset is 45 with them and 35 without? So they should be ok

A spigot ring won't affect the offset of the wheel, it just alters the centre bore size.
