I posted this on migweb the other day aswell. Just noticed this reply :

£2k thats a shocking price!

You could buy an engine for say £400 spend £500 on a rebuild and youll have a safer, higher performance c20xe than vauxhall could ever deliver

So, what do you think???? Is getting an engine for £500 (probably done at least 80k miles) and then getting it rebuilt (for £500 - i personally think it'll cost more), be a better, "safer" engine at the end.

I personally think that 2grand aint that bad. More prospective investment IMO.
