changed my pads the 2 weeks ago i bedded them in i do allot of miles, i braked real hard tonight from 110 in my GSI and the brakes burst into flames, smoke was pouring out every where, my brakes stopped working luckily i was near my house. I pulled up the drive with smoke pourin out from my brakes, i let them cool down and they seem to work ok now.
Am i ok to leave the pads of would you change them, and did this happen cos of crap pads

I had red dot discs and pads and found them no better than vaux ones.
Got V6 up front now, well worth the cash as they wouldn't fade even from 110 about 5 mins ago!
