Leave standard bodywork, colour code, tints, 15's with decent rrubber, good brakes, suspension, foget all the bodykit crap and fling a 20xe in immediately and get in on TB's.

I am 19 year old, coming up on having 1 years no claims. I am also SKINT at present . I do all the work to my car, EVERYTHING so, i dont shed no real money via bodyshops n shit. So, until my claim gets cleared through the courts n stuff, the 2 litre will be on hold i'm afraid as will be some major ICE etc....
Ian, i got it from an auction. let two other parties battle it out until the auctioneer said "going twice", the i bidded and got it with that one bid Laughable i know, but it only had one previous owner who was a women. Full service history included.
As for electrics. I have an eleccy window kit in my room aswell to get fitted wired in. Rev counter already on it. And hopefully get the sunroof leccy too at some point.
Well chuffed with it. Only the bonnet has small chips in it. Rest of the car is imaculate .
Cheers for your input all

Im never going near them again!
Various posts in Help & Advice - I won't bother boring you with the details! If you've got the car loom, there simple, if you've not and try to change the loom and things go wrong - well Its bena 6th month long hassle and it still isn't done until I pay Vauxhall a shed load to sort my air bag and centrall locking out!
argh! (oh, good luck though!)

Hey mate. I havent got the loom already installed
I've got all the wiring n guff just to fit. I know it can be a right arse. But al get it done Going to take the door off so that i can work in the house instead of working vertical all the time. Plus i'm going to be stripping the interior (whole dash) to do something or another. When i get it done ( wont be for a wee while yet, got other stuff to work on before that) al certainly let u know. I've read all your posts about it in Help & mod cos i knew i was going to have to do it at some point. Cheers bud
