from what i have found out its a pretty simple conversion to do. i knew completely nothing about the conversion a week ago until going on here and have since bought my engine and the conversion is starting tomorrow.

Dont put the eco-tec engine in cos it is only 135bhp, put the redtop one in 150bhp out of the box.

it is 9 wires to mate the looms up.

you need to modify/change one of the mounts. Lee Mitchell (07984826088)

you need driveshafts (Courtenay do them with lifetime warranty) or you can bodge it but not worth the hassle although the courtenay ones arent cheap at £280.(Courtenay on 01692404060)

you need an adapter plate for the throttle body from Top Gear in Burnley (01282414413) for £25 and an ecotec pipe for about £15 from Vauxhall (part no. 90411677)

think thats it although i am sure some of the more experienced members will clarify everything.

thanks to BeArDy for all the information. Sound guy even let me go to his house and took for a spin in his car. you will get loads of help on here anyway.

they sell that full corsa 2.0L 16V convertion kit at crossvaux £480 that comes with everything u need for the convertion, the new inlet manifold, shafts & hubs, induction kit, eng mounts and the anti roll bar mounts, this is the cheapest convertion kit i'v seen for the corsa, has pvd do the same kit for £540...
