Going by the RR figures I've seen the C16XE puts out about 10lb/ft more than the X16XE.....

X16XE puts out 109lb/ft
C16XE puts out 110.5 lb/ft

to be precise

whats more important is that the C16XE (pre-ecotec) creates max torque at 3500rpm, rather than 4000rpm for the X16XE ecotec unit.

C16XE is a bit more friendly to drive!

the C16XE is a fantastic engine. I wish i had one rather than my X16XE. If i could, i would go back in time and bring back an L reg Corsa GSi in Carabic Blue. Or even find the elusive black GSi straight from the factory. It still exists you know!
