its getting closer to my engine change, from 1.2 16v to gsi 1.6 16v, only thing Im worried about now, is the dials, can I take the electronic speedo off the sxi loom or woteva and fit it to the gsi gearbox, or do I need to have cable driven?

u may need cable driven
there is a set of gsi dial fs in calssifieds
these shud work
not sure now u mention it............

You can fit an eletronic sender to the GSi box although I'd consider changing the car before attempting this conversion.
