Ok, I need to change my oil filter, anyone got a picture where it is? I think i know but i dont want to unscrew the bit if its not it!
Can someone put a pic up of where it is!

it depends on your engine mate. you have to drain the oil out first. i advise you spend £15 on a haynes manual as you seem the kind of person whos up for DIY, i use mine on an almost daily basis

Oil filter on a 1.0 is a paper cartridge.
Its the balck plastic slightly slanty thing on the right of the cylinder head.
You unscrew the cap off and change the cartridge.

I dont have that engine or have I seen it but that looks like an oil filter size to me

When you unscrew the oil filter housing top and remove the paper element you will find there are some rubber O rings to replace (probably 3 of them if it's like my DTi). One sits round the top of the cap and two smaller ones lower down. New O rings should come with the filter element.
