Ive just installed the facia and the head unit and when I pushed the head unit home into place the little bit of plastic which surrounds the heat unit popped off. It wont go back on cos the facia sticks out a bit too far. It doesnt look right without it on either. Any one had the same prob or can anyone give me any advice on what to do

i had a simlar prob on my corsa B, if there is a rubber bit on the bck of the stereo that might be whats restricting it, or there might be a random bit of something in the way, if u got the old stereo see if has any holes in the back where that random bit of something might have sat in. nothing a pare of pliars cant sort out  . gl mate.

Nah mate its the other way round, the head unit pushes too far into the facia and knocks off the little plastic surround
