My MOT is due and it's the first time i've had to have a car MOT'd.
I really don't want to get ripped off but don't know too much about cars so if they say it needs a new part then I'll have too take their word 4 it.
So where are the best places to go 4 MOT's, A dealer??
Or any other tips e.g. i've heard bout giving ur car a good run out b4 going 4 an MOT cos it helps reduce your emissions??
There are no faults that I know of, only this are it has a slight oil leak and also the handbrake light comes on when I turn right. Will this cause it to fail?? should these be fixed 1st?

get it MOT'd and if they fail it then ask them to list the bits it failed on, dont get them replaced
take it to another garage and get them to check it for you
thats the only good thing about N.I., they only have actual MOT test centres where they are tested - so u dont get some garage shafting you
