there a few things u can do to it, but its not really cost affective.
I managed to get hold of:-
Dbillas inlet manifold
unichip
Cams
I managed to get these off a m8, of mine and have just had em fitted and r/r tuned (they only cost me £1000 including fitting and a day on the rolling road)
This is on Corsa C 1.2 16v and i got the bits cheap (would never of paid full price)!!!
ps,
Corsa B 1.2 8v is 45bhp
corsa B 1.2 16v is 65
corsa C 1.2 16v is 75
and my car after these mods was 102bhp and torque figure of 100. (not bad really.

I've heard that the corsa B 1.2 16v is the same bhp as the corsa C 1.2 16v and it was a trick to get it into alow insurance group.
Need some power curves of 2 standard ones to tell for sure.

agreed, but before i had the engine done i used to get some knob from work trying to race me in his T reg Corsa B (1.2 16v) and my car would always pull away from him (not alot) but enough to make me think his car wasnt as powerful?

Or maybe they were the same and you are just a faster driver.
It really is all down to WHEN you change gear and HOW you do it.

I'm getting my Sxi rr'd at the Cs rr day - not had much done to it so should be able to find out whether the B is 65 or 75 - the only prob is my cars been running rubbish lately anyway!?
Another 1.2 16v mod thats available is manztel's prototype Supercharger for 1.2 16vs. Basically there wasn't enough demand so they're trying to shift it for £1000 I think
supposedly takes it up to about 115+ (ish) bhp...
then if you did cams / chip / mainfold etc then your looking at a relatively quick lightish car. 1.2 corsa B is apparently only 850kg!
when you work out the power to tonne a 135 bhp 1.2 has same power to tonne roughly as a 2.0... plus a 2.0 will tend to understeer coz of the extra weight.
Not worth the money imo though tuning the 1.2 16v - I've been tempted though.

according to http://www.cuddles.abelgratis.net/ford.htm the kerb weight of a 1.25 zetec 3 dr is 922kg. 1.6 zetec is 976kg. Older ones will be lighter due to no power steering or a/c

http://www.carfolio.com/specifications/models/car/?car=1947 says a 1993 opel corsa GSi is 960kg.
Also says it has a drag coefficient of 0.350, 113.54 bhp per ton and a 0-1 kilometer time of 31sec. intresting that.
