any body fitted them 2 there 1.2 8v?mines is an n reg and just wondering if they will go in ok?and for the rev counter 2 work would i have to wire it up etc?

yes a few people on here done it before + yes you will have to wire it up for it to work

ignore colin

i put new clocks in my 1.2 8v and the rev counter worked as the wire was in the loom

just a cause of if ther wire is ther or not

rite.but will all 1.2 8vs not have the wire after a certain year?or is it just a pick of the bunch?also is it possible to clock it?

ive heard of some 1.2 that have the wire - (mine) some that dont - so dunno

clock them? why? if u clock it to match wot ur milage is now - u must declare that its been clocked when u sell it - making it harder to sell

well just whip it out and have a look - clocking - just get a set with lower millage - very dodgy tho

well.my cars got 66k on it and my new clocks has 34k on it.so i wann put it up to 66.what reg is ure motor?

dude father bloke - my car had 24k on it when it got imported, then the new clocks got put in, it has 0 miles on them - but they just noted in the service book that there was a 24k differance
