I want to ditch my tired combat front and replace it with one of the above, problem is they both look very low to and dont want to make it un driveable - cant go up driveways / no chance on the mildist of speed bumps. does anyone have any advice or know what sort of clearence i would have with my 17s down 40mm.
I may get 18s soon but cant see that making much more than 10mm difference

hiya mate, i have the psg2 front on mine and im down 60mm and on 17" and i cant get on my drive and only just make it over speed humps(it catches a little). its a real nightmare cause now i have to plan my route before i go anywhere.

bloody hell that cas has changed so much in the last year sore it about a year ago at your work when i was in the area, you reckon 40mm drop would see me ok on most speed bumps and drives?

i have the front with 40 drop ,as long as you drive sensible over them you should be okay

yes i did go against it as with 17s down 40 you have no chance.i am in kenilworth

i had psg 2 with 17" lowerd 60mm
it rubed all over the place and i had to go back to 40mm wich looked daft with the wide arces but it got ripped clean off last weak nuff said if any on is intested in reparing it thay can have all the kit for £350 origonal kit not a copy (bumpers sides and arches)

i agree with you there mate, cany take it to work anymore.
too scared it wont be there when i come out.
