I am running 2 amps and I use a 4awg from the battery to distribution block then 2 8awg, one to each amp.

If you didn't already know (you might but im gonna say anyways)
its always best to have a thicker guage of wire comming from the battery. So dont just split your 8awg into another two 8's.
I have 2awg split into two 4's. My girlfriend has 0awg split into 2's
