nice mate - looks a bit like my h/u... (the 6400R)
I wish I had a remote - I didn't realise you could take the remote out of the car and start it up and stuff, otherwise I'd have got one when I saw one for sale!
How do you change colours of the buttons on your H/U - I don't think I can with mine, but just wondered what you do? switch it off and press func? or hold func? or what?

Yeah thats the facia adaptor with the newer shade of silver , which cost £25 from vauxhall, havent got the part number off hand but I can get you it if you want??
About the steering wheel adaptor, I got that last year when I bought the HU for my old car, and the guy where I bought it sold me it for about £20 as I bought the HU from him and got it all fitted there...... SO not sure how much they are normally.
The blue thing is my Girlfriends leg ........ told her to get out while I took pics but you know what women are like

Sends a signal to your hu to tell it to change volume or track etc when you press buttons on the steering wheel.

I have the 8400MP version and I don't have that IR thingy thats next to your handbrake. I've just got the remote that straps to the steering wheel.

I hold down the Func button when the HU is turned off then a menu comes up with the time on, so that it can be set...... I scroll along the menus at the top until I come to Ilumination Colour, then I can change it from Green to Red. Wish it could be Blue.
