Bought some red-dot 20 groove disks for me GSI today i heard you can put them on with the grooves point either way whats the advantage or doing one way or another

more stoppin power, however, pads wear out quicker.

put it so that the lower end of the groove is pointing front.
it doesnt really change stopping power that much, pad wear will become an issue
